Project A - Know Your Numbers
With multiple products and GEO’s I wanted to help them understand their COGS for every combination. We dove deep into their manufacturing, freight, fulfillment, and shipping to find their exact COGS, which helped us optimize for wha't’s most profitable.
Project B - Freight
LCL is typically 3-4x more expensive than FCL. But since their core SKU is so small, FCL never made sense. Now, as they scale, they can “graduate” to FLC if they are willing to ship new inventory every 2 months instead of every 1 month. Since this product line is more mature, they have more predictability in their sales, and are able to ship less frequently. Because of this, we are able to ship more volume at once, and save thousands per shipment with FCL.
